Enlightenment: effortlessly surfing the Flow of Life!

  Call it the coming form of ‘Enlightenment.’ 

  But we’re not there yet. 

  Sure, a few ancients, a few Buddhists, Taoists, Yoga and Zen masters got it and tried to teach it in their culture bound way. In fact there’s been plenty of mystics throughout the ages who reconnected, who you might say became one with Bergson’s ‘current passing from germ to germ,’ but they’ve always remained suspect in the vigilant eyes of prevailing organized religions. 

  That’s because religions rigidly serve a defined community situated in Time and Space. Life for these human groupings and their religions, particularly the so-called ‘advanced civilizations,’ rarely encompass all Life, only that of their own exclusive group members. The Bible gave man ‘dominion’ over all the plants and animals: that’s exclusivity in action. 

  You could say religions ‘serve and protect.’ Serve the cohesive needs of the community or civilization; and protect that community from distractive or dangerously destabilizing outside influences, including unfortunately an overly zealous realization and experience of the wonder and mystery of Life. 

  But Life Flows forever on. Individuals, like communities, who resist and refuse to change or evolve are left behind. They ossify, grow brittle, then crack and crumble to pieces. 

  What is the Satori, the Enlightenment to come? 

  It is a deep comprehension that there is a Oneness in ALL Life, ALL living beings. It will be a de-emphasizing of our particular self-involved ‘developed organism,’ namely you and I and all humankind, and a refocusing on the current—the Flow—passing ‘from germ to germ through the medium of [ALL] developed organisms.’ The grasses, the shrubs and flowers, the trees, the insects, birds and animals—ALL of it—even developed organisms we cannot see with the naked eye. 

  The totality of ‘developed organisms’ comprise the Natural World we see and experience and Life is Flowing through it ALL continually! 

  That is the Satori to come.

  That is Enlightenment. 

  Oneness with the Flow…

  That is you, I, and ALL living beings…

One day we will finally learn…

  Life is ALL there is…!
