More and more I take my camera wherever I go.

Trying to capture moments of Life, I suppose.

I’m gathering quite a collection of images: flowers, birds, insects, animals large and small.

I try to get as close as possible, make them intimate living portraits.

But for the most part I’ve avoided humans. Up to now, that is.

However, what is clean and unalloyed within the animal and plant kingdom becomes muddied when we humans become the subject. The same Life flows through us as every plant and animal organism alive, the same Flow that has animated our planet for upwards of four billion years. But with us humans that flow is accomplished within culture, and culture is the Great Misleader.
