This is an experiment.

Up to now whenever I’ve tried to post from my iPad it hasn’t gone well. Either the font is wonky or too small or the photo is improperly sized. That or I have difficulty in slotting the post into an appropriate category with suitable tags.

Because of that I’ve been posting from my laptop for several years.

The truth is despite years of hosting the Omphalos Cafe I am far from an expert at navigating and utilizing the site to the best advantage. And frankly, the sort of flash and polish available today at the press of buttons and with the aid of AI is beyond both my aptitude and interest.

KISPOTCA is and has been my modus operandi, you might say. In case you didn’t know, that’s a play on the ole say ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid’ saw, and stands for ‘Keep It Simple, Prophet Of The Coming Age.’ (No point in aiming too low, I figure.)

However, this morning I cannot seem to login to my WordPress account on my laptop, from which I’ve typically posted, and as a consequence am falling back on my iPad to get this thing out into the world. That’s not an entirely bad thing, as getting up to speed on my iPad would lesson the number of devices I need carry in the coming months as travel looms.

“Lighten the load!” is always front of mind when the road beckons.

So here goes!

And I’m curious to see what it looks like…
