I step up to the cash and order myself a small black coffee.
A smiling faced young woman with dark eyes and a slight accent punches in my order, takes my money, and hands me change.
“Your order will be off to the right,” she says, indicating with a raised arm the direction I should shuffle.
I take two steps to the right.
“Small black,” says a smiling faced young woman with dark eyes and a slight accent.
I look back. The smiling faced young woman is taking another order.
“You two are sisters,” I stammer dumbly.
“Yes,” they answer in unison, “twins.”
“Isn’t life amazing,” I wonder aloud.
Both smile identical smiles.
“Have a nice day,” we all bid one another.
