There is Life, and there is what relates us human beings living as we do in cities back to Life. 

  And it is so easy to lose ourselves in one and forget the Other. 

  And then sometimes the one we can lose ourselves in, mainly because it becomes obsessed with itself, can no longer relate us city dwelling humans back to Life at all. 

  At that point we cry out for a new relationship with Life. 

  Then, and perhaps only then, are we ready to hear the shaman’s new song of Life.
