Honestly, I feel sorry for the young today. 

  How are they to make head or tail of what is actually taking place out in the world? Particularly as the education they’ve been exposed to since birth is so limited and uninspired. 

  Which is another way of saying so unpoetic. 

  Are they aware that the truly inspired of thinkers and livers in our Western tradition and through the ages have been largely shunted aside in our mad dash for reason and the sciences? How can our young know that these Giants are ignored and even vilified precisely because they sing of Truths the conventional teachers earning their middle class lives in the comfort and security of our academic institutions are in no way equipped to comprehend? Who is there to inform them that the vision of the truly inspired is far beyond the limited capacity of the comforming classes to grasp, never mind ‘teach?’ 

  Call me a joyously laughing ornery cuss.
